Sweet And Tasty Under 5 Minute Chocolate Cake!

Hello there blogger world! If you get as obscenely hungry as I do in the wee hours of the night craving something sweet and satisfying, this little treat is for you! I'm a huge fan of chocolate, but sometimes a few squares of chocolate isn't enough to satisfy my sweet tooth!

To make this cake you will need:

~ microwave
~ large ceramic coffee mug (if its tall use it because sometimes the cake will leak out when cooking)
~ tablespoon measure (referred to as T. in this post) or a large-ish spoon
~ something to stir with, preferably a fork!

Ingredients:

~ 4 T. flour
~ 4 T. white sugar
~ 3 T. milk
~ 3 T. canola oil
~ 3 T. cocoa powder
~ 1 teaspoon (about a cap full) vanilla extract
~ 1 egg
~ some chocolate chips if you have them!

Directions:

1. Mix all dry ingredients in the mug; flour, sugar, cocoa powder.
2. Measure and pour in the oil, milk, and vanilla. (if you want a really moist, molten cake, use one more T. of canola oil)
3. Crack egg carefully into mug to avoid having shells in your cake.
4. Mix vigorously! and pour in some chocolate chips if you prefer, then stir briefly.
5. Put in microwave and set the time for 3 minutes! Allow to cool one minute (if you can) until removing from microwave and eating :)

!!!~[also! If you are discouraged by a very liquid looking top when you remove the cake from the microwave, don't be! This is most likely just a very little amount of  batter that has not cooked solid. Its safe to eat I assure you! And is personally one of my favorite parts of this cake!]~!!!

*MUG WILL BE HOT, PLEASE BE CAREFUL!*

Lastly, I'm aware that all microwaves are not the same, so it may take slightly longer or shorter for your cake to be finished cooking. Also, if you like to watch food cook like I do, don't be scared if you see the cake rising up to the top of the mug and looking like it will spill over. It most likely won't, its just built up stream that's formed inside your cake as it cooks pushing it up to the top. Please enjoy! I'm aware this recipe may not be for everyone but its served me and my best friend many a happy late nights as a delightful snack. Thanks again for checking this out~! <3 <3 <3
